The stick is quite chunky compared to some, so it feels like you only need a few sweeps for a decent amount of coverage. I also bought one of the Makeup Forever Ultra HD Stick Foundations to try, this has been on my wish list for some time. This foundation comes in a whopping 40 shades, and is available from the Debenhams website, £30 for 30ml. I think if you have normal or dry skin this would be a perfect foundation, like Giorgio Armani’s Luminous Silk, it’s better suited to people who are not so prone to oiliness. I still think it gives a beautiful finish, my only issue with it is that it doesn’t survive my oily nose very well, but is fine if maintained throughout the day. I originally bought it because I saw it being used by so many YouTubers, and it always looked amazing. Next up is a repurchase, Makeup Forever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation is another blogger fave, and indeed, I used to be a bit obsessed with it myself. Available from Boots and Superdrug, and usually on offer. The combination option has a 22 shade range but I believe the normal/dry version only has 12, which is a bit weird but maybe the formula isn’t quite as popular, £12.99 for 30ml, both contain SPF. Colorstay has become one of my staple makeup bag foundations, I can see why so many people swear by it. I find pretty much any foundation will eventually break up on my nose if I don’t maintain it throughout the day, regardless of how expensive it is. The foundation gives really good coverage, and wears well, even without touch ups. The odd thing is that both formulas work really well on my skin, I can’t honestly say I prefer one or the other. Shade wise my favourite is Golden Beige, although the other two are fine as well, generally if a foundation is a bit on the fair side, I just Bronze it up a bit. So I have the shades Sand Beige 180 and Golden Beige 300 in the combo/oily foundation and Natural Beige 220 in the normal/dry one. This particular foundation comes in two varieties, Combination/Oily and Normal/Dry, now my skin varies from day to day, I get a very oily nose but the rest of my face is mostly normal but can sometimes feel a bit on the dry side. Firstly, I finally tried Revlon Colorstay Foundation, I bought the shade Sand Beige, then Revlon very kindly sent me to shades to try as part of their #LiveBoldly campaign. I have a couple of new foundations though, although they’re not new launches, both have been around for some time. No new Primers this month, nothing caught my eye. I’ve been very erratic with my blog posts recently, I realised I haven’t done my February review which, as it’s almost the end of March I was wondering whether I should still bother doing, but I figure March’s review would be very long and meandering if I combined them, so here’s a belated ‘February Review’!
